Senior Quantity Surveyor
Role Overview
Ethical Power (GTDS) seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team, integral to the commercial management of high-voltage transmission and distribution projects. If you are a proactive professional with a strong understanding of NEC contracts and a proven track record in commercial management, we want to hear from you. This role involves working both on-site and in the office to ensure robust commercial performance and contractual compliance across our portfolio of projects.
What will you be doing?
- Commercial Management: Oversee day-to-day commercial operations and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with our high standards.
- Contractual Expertise: Administer change control and variations under NEC contracts, driving added value and increased profit margins.
- Financial Control: Maintain and update project cashflow forecasts, manage subcontractor payments, and provide accurate financial reports for informed decision-making.
- Relationship Building: Lead contract negotiations and build strong relationships with clients and our supply chain partners.
What are we looking for?
- Proven background as a Quantity Surveyor in a contracting environment, ideally within high-voltage or energy infrastructure.
- In-depth experience with NEC contracts, particularly NEC Option A and E.
- Strong expertise in budgeting, cashflow management, and CVR concepts.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to lead, influence, and build rapport with diverse teams.
- A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field is desirable.
