Regional Health & Safety Advisor
We are looking for 3 Advisors to cover North West, South East and Midlands. The role will be remote with regular travel to site within your region.

Role Overview
Working closely with operational colleagues to maintain the ongoing provision of safe working environments. Monitoring site operations to ensure all activities are completed in line with company policy and procedures, observing and promoting best practice, along with identifying areas where improvement is required. Supporting operational management in the drafting and review of risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) for direct labour operations, and the evaluation of contractors and assisting in the review of their RAMS. The role presents an opportunity for a Health & Safety Advisor with construction experience to join the sector with an established and ambitious company.
What will you be doing?
Provision of health & safety support and advice
Completion of site inspections
Trend analysis of inspection findings, identification of causation, creation of action plans to address
Assisting in drafting, and review, of risk assessment and method statements
Engaging and supporting the workforce to reduce risk
Accurately record and review health and safety data
Assist in accident/incident investigation to ensure identification of underlying, and root, causation
Completion of internal audit against the requirements of the health and safety management system
Identification of training needs and competency requirements
Contribute to bids and customer / project presentations
Monitor and improve process compliance and performance for the Project(s) - Action planning and tracking for the Project(s)
What are we looking for?
National Grid substation experience
Experienced H&S Adviser in a construction, electrical, or related technical environment
NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate, or industry recognised equivalent
Qualified First Aider
SEATS is desirable
